Liz is a certified Athletic Trainer and surgical technician. She obtained a B.S. in Exercise Science/Athletic Training in 1989 from Kansas University and a M.Ed. in Human Performance from the University of Missouri in 1991. Her extensive sports medicine background includes working as an orthopedic physician extender/athletic trainer and sports medicine coordinator, where she worked with professional sports teams, local youth clubs and wellness centers. She was the Head Athletic Trainer for Coastal Carolina University and has also worked with Olympic athletes. She is part of The Portland Clinic Sports Medicine Team and will be working at the Tigard Medical Campus in addition to developing a community outreach sports program.
