At-Risk-for-Diabetes Seminar:

Reduce your chances of developing Type 2 diabetes. This seminar is for anyone with a family history of diabetes; a diagnosis of pre-diabetes; a fasting blood glucose level of 100 to 125; a history of gestational diabetes or giving birth to a baby weighing more than 9 pounds; PCOS; or general concerns about developing diabetes. A registered dietitian will share practical tips for eating well, increasing activity, managing stress and losing weight. Cost is $20 (one support person may attend for free). Diabetes: Invitation to a Healthier Lifestyle:

PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome):

Introduction to Insulin Pump Therapy: 

A small group class specifically for those interested in using an insulin pump to manage your diabetes.  Focus is on basic pump functions and use of basal (background) insulin, bolus (mealtime) insulin.  See what an insulin pump and infusion set looks like in real life.  Will also discuss ways to troubleshoot high blood sugar levels.  Copayment is required.  A support person may (and is encouraged to) attend for free.

This free support group for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes meets every other month to discuss self-managment and coping strategies.  You are welcome to attend one or all of the following:
