Barbara received her B.S. in speech pathology and audiology from California State University, East Bay and her clinical doctorate in audiology from San Diego State University and The University of California, San Diego. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the International Society of Audiology. Barbara lives with her family in SW Portland where she enjoys camping, hiking, bike riding, trips to the farmer's market, and participating in a variety of community service projects. Barbara also enjoys studying languages and traveling abroad. Before settling in Portland, she lived in Turkey and the United Kingdom.
