Bryan Chitwood, MD

Dr. Chitwood received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine and completed a family practice residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada.  He is board certified in Family Practice and has been practicing in the Portland area since 1997.

 

In addition, Dr. Chitwood received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from University of California Davis and a professional degree in Pharmacy from Oregon State University.

 

He enjoys providing care for chronic and complex medical issues and appreciates the ability to develop long lasting relationships with patients.  He is a strong advocate for healthy lifestyle choices with a focus on initiating and maintaining age appropriate and adequate exercise.  He believes in minimizing the reliance on technology and looks for the opportunity to reduce the number of medications for patients.

 

Dr. Chitwood and his wife enjoy traveling together and raising their two exuberant rescue dogs and their small flock of chickens.  He has always enjoyed outdoor activities and in his spare time you will often find him at home making wine, cooking for a small group of friends, gardening, or even refining his woodworking skills.
