Dr. Cooper has specialized in Diagnosis and Internal Medicine at The Portland Clinic since 1979. After graduating from The Medical College of Wisconsin in 1976, he served his internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital and St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, Texas and completed residency training at The Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
