Dr. Meier earned his B.A. from the University of Iowa with Honors in Biology and with High Distinction.  As an undergraduate, he was made a member of Phi Beta Kappa.   Dr. Meier also earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa.  He served his internship at Emanuel Hospital in Portland before completing his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  Dr. Meier was named Chief Resident for his last year of residency.  Dr. Meier is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  He sees patients at the downtown, Beaverton and South locations.
