James received a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Pacific in 2000.  He spent 6 years as Grant High School's athletic trainer prior to becoming a physical therapist.  James has been practicing outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy for the past 5 years in the Portland area where he grew up. 

He started at The Portland Clinic in May 2006 and recently completed certification in the ASTYM treatment system for soft tissue injuries.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and his son, going out to eat and playing golf.
