Jan received a Master's Degree in Nutrition from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. She served her internship in Clinical and Administrative Dietetics at St. Paul-Ramsey Medical Center in St.Paul, Minnesota. She has been a registered dietician since 1982 and a certified Diabetes Educator since 1990. She deals with a wide range of nutrition concerns in her practice but has a particular interest in working with people with diabetes and in helping people get off the lifelong diet roller coaster and establish sustainable eating habits and a stable weight.
