Crist, Jonathan C. MD
I completed my Family Medicine residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2007 after graduating from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2004.
I specialize in non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions particular to athletes. Although I have special interests in concussion management, non-operative treatment of osteoarthritis, and athletic pubalgia (sports hernia), I also treat musculoskeletal disorders in both athletes and non-athletes of all ages. As a Sports Medicine physician, I am not solely concerned with helping elite athletes achieve their maximum potential; I strive to help all active individuals reach their personal best, regardless of age, activity or skill level. I am privileged to serve as a Team Physician for the University of Portland Pilots. I am also a member of the Oregon School Activities Association Medical Aspects of Sports Committee.
I truly enjoy the practice of Sports Medicine and appreciate the opportunity to work with my patients on their personal goals. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, travelling, and playing guitar.
Dr. Crist was elected as a top doctor in Portland Monthly’s 2014 and 2016 “Top Docs and Nurses” feature.
