Liz is a Certified Athletic Trainer and serves as our Sports Medicine Community Outreach Coordinator.  She works with local adult & youth sports clubs that do not normally have access to a Sports Medicine specialist and assists with event coverage, injury evaluation and educational programs for athletes & coaches.  In the office she works as a physician extender and assists the orthopedic physicians with fracture care, casting & surgical procedures.

Her extensive Sports Medicine background over the past 20 years includes working with all levels of athletes from professional teams to youth & wellness programs.  She was the Head Athletic Trainer at Coastal Carolina University and has also served as an athletic trainer for the US Olympic Committee.

Liz obtained a B.S. in Exercise Science/Athletic Training in 1989 from Kansas University and a Master's degree from the University of Missouri.  She enjoys the outdoors and traveling and is looking forward to participating in more international medical missions.
