Michele earned a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Washington Family Nurse Practitioner program, as well as a Master's in Science from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing.  She has been in practice since 1993 as a nationally certified family nurse practitioner with a strong interest and focus on women's health across the lifespan.  She believes in a holistic approach and working as a partner with her patients.  She is skilled in contraceptive and hormonal management, IUD insertion, diaphragm fitting, pessary fitting/care, endometrial biopsy, vulvar biopsy and colposcopy.  In her spare time, Michele enjoys an active outdoor oriented lifestyle including extended wilderness travel.  She is also a Portland Audubon volunteer.
