Dr. Phillip Unger earned his medical degree at Indiana University Medical School and served his internship and 1st year residency at Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University hosp in Atlanta, Georgia. After a 2 yr obligation in the US Army medical corp in Taegu, Korea and Fort Carson medical clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at Oregon Health and Science Institute in Portland, Oregon. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians. He has practiced in Portland, Oregon over the past 30 years and is presently practicing at the urgent care facility in Tigard, Oregon.
