Randy J. Pitts, MD

Dr. Pitts was born and raised in the Portland area (Lake Oswego). He attended undergraduate school at Willamette University in Salem. Dr. Pitts attended medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his clinical clerkship at Mt. Sinai and his internship and residency at University of Oklahoma – Tulsa. During his last year at University of Oklahoma, he was Chief Resident. He stayed on as a clinical instructor at the medical school. He also was in private practice at the medical school. Dr. Pitts returned to Oregon in September of 1983. That year, he took over Dr. Marvin Robb’s practice. Dr. Robb had originally taken the practice over from his father after WWII. The building and practice had been there since 1932. Dr. Robb’s father built the structure in 1932. Dr. Pitts practice consists of all ages. He performs surgical procedures in his office including, but not limited to skin cancers, moles, lumps, cysts and biopsies. He sees patients with conditions ranging from heart disease to GYN. He took care of his own hospital patients until 2008. He has been practicing medicine for a total of 25 years.
Dr. Pitts has 3 children and 2 grandkids, all of whom are living in the Portland area.
