Dr. Harrison received his medical degree and completed his surgical internship and residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.  Dr. Harrison then went on to complete a minimally invasive surgery research fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. He has a special interest in esophageal motility disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett’s esophagus, hiatal hernia, adrenal disease, laparoscopic splenectomy  and complex hernia management with additional training in surgical weight loss procedures.
