Sports Medicine Injury
The Portland Clinic is proud to unveil our new Sports Injury Medical Clinic, designed to meet the unique needs of the athletic community! The Portland Clinic has created a new system for the evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries and medical conditions.
We know that athletic injuries come with a host of unique questions and issues. You want to know as soon as possible if your injury or medical condition will put you on the sidelines. You need to plan your training, and everyone needs to know when you will be able to compete. This requires more than just an x-ray and some bandages, you need quick access to a complete medical team.
The Portland Clinic has the right team to meet your needs. First, we're fast: we can provide quicker access to medical attention at every level of treatment. On your first visit, you will be seen by a physician, not just emergency caregivers, so you can get real answers to your immediate medical questions. Your follow-up visits can be scheduled quickly and easily.
Secondly, we're comprehensive: The Portland Clinic offers a full family of physicians, specialists, and sports health experts. Our team includes Orthopedists, Physical Therapists, Nutritionists, and Athletic Trainers who specialize in injury recovery and performance enhancement. Our system gives you quick access to our specialists - sometimes even on the day of your first visit!
Finally, we're specialized. We make sure that your specific needs as an athlete are being met. We can perform x-rays in all our locations, and it is always fast and easy to schedule appointments with our specialists. With your permission, our doctors will speak directly to your coaches and athletic trainers regarding your medical condition and your return to athletic activity.
At The Portland Clinic, we understand that athletic health care is about more than just being "patched up." We start a full and comprehensive healing process from the moment you walk through the door.
