I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State University. That’s where I fell in love with the field of nutrition — a profession that allows me to combine my love of science with my love of food. After college, I worked in community nutrition programs for a few years before heading to New Hampshire to complete a dietetic internship at Keene State College. A couple of years later, I made a visit to Oregon and quickly fell in love with the area. I moved here soon after.
As a dietitian, I help patients adopt sustainable eating patterns to help them feel their best and manage an array of conditions, including diabetes and gastrointestinal disorders. I practice through a patient-centered, weight-inclusive lens as I help patients to focus on dietary changes that fit their values, and to tune into their internal cues related to food and eating. My aim is to meet patients where they are, to collaborate with them to achieve their goals, and to foster an environment where they can build a positive relationship with food and their body.
I was drawn to the Pacific Northwest by the outdoors. Living here, I like to spend as much time as possible outside, hiking and camping with my partner and our two dogs. When sticking around the city, I love going to the dog park, catching up with friends and family, and trying to keep my garden alive.
