Physical Therapy
I became interested in physical therapy because I wanted to understand how and why the body moves the way it does. As a physical therapist, I like the challenge of trying to identify and help correct whatever is causing dysfunctional movement in my patients. The most satisfying aspect of my work is being able to help people maximize their function and get back to doing all the things that pain has kept them from doing.
I earned my master’s degree in physical therapy at Loma Linda University in Southern California, and I’m board certified in orthopedics. At The Portland Clinic, I treat musculoskeletal conditions of all kinds, using manual therapy techniques and specific exercises to help restore function.
I grew up near Seattle and moved to the Portland area after finishing school in 2001. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our daughter, traveling, reading, exploring Portland restaurants, rooting for the Timbers and roasting my own coffee.
