Family Medicine - Primary Care
As a graduate of Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, I have spent the majority of my life in Pennsylvania where I completed my undergraduate training, medical degree, and residency. Before going to medical school, I worked in health care from the time I was in high school. I held positions in a variety of areas such as file clerk, to IT support, and medical assistant. My true aspiration was to be able to serve my community and help people the way a physician does.
I feel that my experience prior to medical school gives me a unique appreciation for the role that everyone plays in the health care team, and I try to bring a team-based approach to all of my interactions with patients. This not only means working with specialists and support staff, but also teaming up with each patient to decide what is the best treatment for them. I was drawn to family medicine in particular because of the wide variety of patients I am able to see and care for.
In 2015, I met my wonderful wife who is from the Pacific Northwest, and ever since she brought me to visit, I knew it’s where I wanted to be. We are very excited to be surrounded by all the natural beauty in Portland, and by all of the fun social events the city has to offer. To unwind and keep life balanced, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and great dane puppy. I also enjoy exploring parks, home brewing, and exploring new restaurants.
