Family Medicine - Primary Care
I’ve worked in health care since I was in high school, starting out in positions such as file clerk, IT support and medical assistant. But my true aspiration was to be able to serve my community and help people the way a physician does. Now that I am a family physician, I find that all of my previous experience gives me a unique appreciation for the role that each person plays on the health care team.
At The Portland Clinic, I try to bring a team-based approach to all of my interactions with patients. This means not only teaming up with our specialists and support staff, but also partnering with patients to decide what is the best treatment for them. I enjoy being able to see and care for a wide variety of patients, which is what drew me to family medicine in particular.
Before coming to Portland, I spent most of my life in Pennsylvania, completing all of my medical training there, including my medical degree at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Then in 2015, I met my wonderful wife, who is from the Pacific Northwest, and as soon as she brought me to visit, I knew this was where I wanted to be. We love being surrounded by all the natural beauty in Portland, and by all of the fun social events the city has to offer.
To unwind and keep life balanced, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and Great Dane. I also enjoy exploring parks, restaurants and home brewing.
