dietitian/nutritionist, I practice medical nutrition therapy for a wide variety
of conditions, and I educate people about nutrition and diabetes. I
believe that nourishing food is the very foundation of good health. I work with
people to help them find a sustainable way of eating that supports their health
and also acknowledges the emotional and social aspects of eating.
professional education includes a degree in dietetics from California
Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, a clinical internship at St.
Paul Ramsey Medical Center in Minnesota, and a master’s degree in nutrition
from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
When not in the office, I am in the garden growing organic vegetables and herbs, in the wilderness hiking, on the mountain skiing or in the city enjoying the theater, restaurants and music.
