I chose primary care medicine as my career because I believe in the importance of preventing diseases and discovering non-preventable diseases in their earliest stages. I enjoy working with a large variety of patient populations and age groups. I also love working with under-served populations, both locally and abroad. I’ve had the opportunity to serve in short-term clinics in both Central America and Africa and hope to do more of that in the future.
I am originally from Lexington, Ky., and earned my medical degree from University of Louisville. I moved to Portland in 2017 after visiting frequently and falling in love with the city.
Outside of seeing patients, I enjoy hiking with my husband and our dogs and visiting various bodies of water throughout the area. We also enjoy exploring local restaurants and breweries, and spending time with family, both locally and on FaceTime.
