I grew up in Central Oregon and moved to the Portland area to attend Lewis & Clark College. A few years after earning a degree in mathematics and computer science, I realized that my perfect career lay in a different direction, so I returned to school and earned a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Pacific University. Now I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities and helping them return to the activities that they love.
I joined The Portland Clinic in 2014, bringing several years of experience in the specialty of chronic neck and back pain. I enjoy educating my patients about their conditions and teaching them simple exercises and techniques to treat their own pain and to prevent it from returning.
Outside of work, my first priority is spending time with my family, including my husband and son. I enjoy hiking, playing soccer, traveling, knitting and crocheting, and playing French horn in a local wind symphony.
