Pediatrics - Primary Care
Not accepting new patients at this time.
As a physician, I am challenged to learn and teach daily; I view my job as primarily one of education and prevention. If I can teach children how to make healthy choices with food and activity, they might avoid “lifestyle diseases” when they are older. Of course, as a pediatrician, I am very pro-immunization and believe that vaccines are a safe and effective intervention. I follow the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and believe it is safe for all children.
I am a Midwesterner who, along with my engineer husband and our two teenagers, has called Oregon home since 1998. I received my medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago in 1992, and finished my residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in 1995.
To maintain my own life balance, I swim, walk the dog, cook, knit and hang out with my kids and husband at as many soccer and lacrosse games as possible.
