Pediatrics - Primary Care
Growing up in Beaverton, I loved living so close to great hiking, camping and just about any outdoor activity that I wanted to do. I left for the Midwest to earn my medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, but couldn’t resist the pull of family, friends and the beautiful outdoors that drew me back to Oregon.
As a teenager, I received my health care at The Portland Clinic, and now I practice here. I always knew I wanted to become a pediatrician — ever since high school, that was it for me. Today, I see infants, children and teens for well-child physicals and a large variety of pediatric issues. I believe in family-centered care, and a key part of that is educating my patients and their parents. My goal is to help my patients attain optimal physical, mental and social health and well-being. This includes preventing potential illnesses, and one of the ways we do that is by adhering to the vaccine schedule.
I enjoy time with my family and friends, reading, gardening and being outdoors. Curling up with a coffee and a book on a rainy day is my favorite way to recharge.
