Internal Medicine - Primary Care
I grew up in East Texas and am a proud Longhorn (Hook’em, Horns!). I’ve wanted to practice medicine for as long as I can remember. I recently found a note from 3rd grade where I wrote “I want to be a doctor when I grow up.” I’m very thankful that I have been able to make my childhood dream come true. I earned my medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Texas at Tyler/Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, TX. I recently moved to Oregon and look forward to eating my way through Portland and soaking up the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
I am a patient-first primary care provider that strives to bring strength and compassion to care for my patients and their families. My belief is that preventative care is the primary tool of wellness. I find medicine to be both art and science. I value building long-term relationships with my patients and helping them be the best version of themselves, which helps me be the best version of myself.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating good food, and watching the latest binge-worthy show on Netflix. I try to lead an active lifestyle. In addition, I take joy in traveling and exploring. When I do, I am sure to grab a souvenir spoon and add it to my collection. I enjoy giving back to the community with other physicians and spreading kindness and compassion.
