I grew up in the mountains of rural Northern California, backpacking, riding horses, and cross-country skiing. After high school, I spent time living in Spain and Puerto Rico, and I am fluent in Spanish. I received my doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. I moved to Portland in 2006 and I really enjoy the blend of urban and outdoor recreational opportunities we have here.
As a clinical audiologist, I evaluate and treat hearing loss in patients of all ages. I believe in compassionate, patient-centered care. Hearing loss impacts people’s lives in a variety of different ways. I strive to collaborate with patients to develop the most effective treatment plan for their individual needs. It’s rewarding to see how improved hearing and communication can have a really profound effect on a person’s quality of life and interpersonal relationships.
Outside of work, I love skiing, puzzles, eating spicy food, and traveling.
