I have always had a strong desire to work in health care. I am passionate about my career, take pride in helping others, and am driven to continuously learn.
A native of the Bay Area, I relocated to Phoenix to earn my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Arizona State University. Shortly after that, I moved to Portland with my family, and it immediately felt like home. I spent several years as a registered nurse with The Portland Clinic before I decided to continue my education and expand my scope of practice to provide a higher level of care. In 2017, I earned a master’s degree in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., and became board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP).
In the urgent care setting, where I work now, I enjoy the unpredictability that each day brings. My objective is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to my patients and to encourage them to be active participants in their health care decisions.
I balance my life by maintaining a healthy mix of work and play, and by prioritizing quality time with my family. When not in the urgent care department, I enjoy traveling, running, hiking and going to the gym. My family and I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and intend to stay for many years to come.
Please note: Tina practices in our urgent care department and can’t be selected as a primary care provider.
