Physical Therapy
As a little girl who was into gymnastics, I fell in love with movement. I delighted in defying gravity and twisting my body in ways that most others didn’t. But at 16, I had an ankle injury that changed things. I went on to other sports, but it wasn’t quite the same. Moving into my adult years, I connected the dots and recognized that my true passion was to help others overcome injuries and pain so they could move in ways that bring them joy.
I attended Pacific University and earned my physical therapy degree from George Fox University. Before joining The Portland Clinic, my experience in post-acute care covered everything from orthopedic post-operative care to neurological injuries, cardiac rehab, post-COVID care and more. Today, I enjoy using hands-on medicine and therapeutic exercises to help patients on their journey to recovery. As part of the clinic’s team, I appreciate the interdisciplinary collaboration that goes into creating patient-centered goals.
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, practicing handstands, hiking with my pug, and eating my way through Portland with my husband.
