Enrique Morayta, MD

Bio

I joined The Portland Clinic in 2017, bringing several years of experience as an emergency room physician, an urgent care and internal medicine physician in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I enjoy treating acute and chronic medical conditions as well as performing minor surgical procedures.

I began medical school at Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico and continued my clinical rotations at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and at the University of Miami, graduating with honors. I completed my internal medicine residency at the Northeast Ohio Medical University.

I’m honored to be part of The Portland Clinic team and to collaborate with a great group of physicians and ancillary staff. It’s gratifying and a privilege to be able to assist patients with their immediate medical needs and to participate in their medical care.

Outside of my work, I love to read and learn about different topics. I strive to live a well-balanced life by practicing mindfulness, exercising on a regular basis, spending time in nature, volunteering, travelling to new places and spending time with family and friends. My wife and I are grateful to raise our son in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
