I was glad to have joined such a well-established multispecialty medical group as The Portland Clinic in 2009. Our wide array of well-connected medical providers ensures that we can treat a variety of ailments and our intermediate size fosters a comfortable, personal patient experience. My goal is for people to have their questions and concerns addressed as fully as possible with each clinical encounter. I strive to approach medical issues in a holistic manner. It is not infrequent that ailments in the head and neck reflect issues stemming from other parts of the body or from psychosocial factors. I take pride in making myself available to patients’ questions and concerns and encourage them to communicate with me through the electronic medical record (MyChart) where they can review their results and actively participate in their treatment plan.
Adventure travel is one of the activities which I strive to make time for. Exploring new cultures, climates, foods, activities and hobbies satisfies this curiosity. Locally, I enjoy riding my bike (often to work), skiing, hiking and exploring the blossoming culinary scene that our city fosters.
