Marie-Louise d’Hulst, MD

Bio

I grew up in Southern California and came to Portland for my internal medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University in 1995. The Pacific Northwest has been my home ever since.

I joined The Portland Clinic in 1998 as a primary care physician, and then my focus changed to urgent care in 2003. I was fortunate to serve as a liaison between the urgent care department and our primary care physicians, providers and specialists to help ensure optimal care for our patients with urgent needs.

In my new role, I will keep seeing patients for same-day appointments, coordinating with their primary care physicians and providers and helping manage chronic conditions. I believe in attentively listening to my patients, ensuring they feel heard and respected, and then working together to address their immediate or on-going medical needs.   

Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, gardening, experimenting with new recipes, hiking in this beautiful region, riding my bike  and trying new watersports in the Columbia River Gorge.

Please note: Dr. d’Hulst sees patients on a same-day basis and can’t be chosen as a primary care physician.
