Bio

My inspiration to pursue a career in health care was sparked while working for an optometrist in high school and college. I admired the personal care he gave his patients and the long-lasting relationships he established with them. I went on to study at Santa Clara University before earning my medical degree from the University of California, Davis.

Now, as an internal medicine physician, I aim to build trusting, respectful and long-term partnerships with my patients. I care for adults at every stage of life, and one of my greatest honors is overseeing the health and well-being of multi-generational families — from grandparents to children. In addition to preventive screenings, wellness exams and lifestyle guidance, I help my patients manage or prevent chronic health conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and more. I also provide women’s health care.

I moved to the wonderful Pacific Northwest from the Bay Area in 2006. I am a proud, first-generation Mexican-American, whose hard-working parents supported my education and dreams. During my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, trying new restaurants and supporting local theater with my daughter. Our fur babies are Ellie, a French bulldog, and Sasha, our adopted cat.
