I received a Masters of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, then completed training at Louisiana State University. I began to serve in the U.S. Navy during my Internal Medicine internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), and as the General Medial Officer on board the U.S.S. Dubuque (LPD-8). After growing up in New Orleans, serving the US Navy as a physician in San Diego and on Guam, I came to live in Oregon and join with The Portland Clinic to practice dermatology in fall 2012.
Throughout my time as a dermatologist I have enjoyed working with a wide range of patients, both children and adults, to resolve numerous skin conditions. I find great satisfaction when I see my patients begin to thrive through treatment and attention to their concerns and symptoms. I strive to both educate my patients about their skin conditions, and how to live a healthy, balanced life that will promote the greatest skin-health for each individual person.
When I am not in clinic, I can be found thriving at home enjoying my wife and children. We all love seeking wonderful places to eat or recipes to cook, playing around our home at small fix-it projects, working on the kids’ activities, hiking, and finding excitement through traveling.
