My longstanding passion for learning about the human body and mind, paired with my desire to work closely with people, led me to pursue a career in internal medicine.
As a physician assistant, I am committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care. I believe in the importance of strong, trusting relationships, and I strive to create a welcoming space where patients feel heard, understood and empowered in their health journeys. Kindness, empathy and patient education are central to my approach.
I was born and raised in Portland, and was grateful to return to the Pacific Northwest after my undergraduate studies in neuroscience at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Penn. I completed my master’s and doctorate degrees in medical science at George Fox University in Newberg.
Outside of work, I enjoy life in Oregon with my husband, our cat and our springer spaniel. In my free time, I love cooking, reading, practicing yoga and making art — especially pottery and watercolor painting.
