Bio

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, I ventured to Oregon to complete my bachelor’s degree at Oregon State University and my doctorate in pharmacy at Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University. Although I returned to Anchorage for my residency training at Providence Alaska Medical Center, I couldn’t stay away from Oregon’s warmer climate, beautiful autumns and diverse art and culinary scene, so I came back and launched my career as a clinical pharmacist at The Portland Clinic in 2017.

I enjoy providing patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team, working together with other clinicians to improve the well-being of the patients we serve. As a pharmacist, my goal is to promote safe and effective medication therapies, as well as to empower patients and their families to be actively engaged in their own health care decisions and outcomes. Having experienced the world of health care from the patient/family perspective, I strive to care for each patient with the utmost compassion and respect.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time in the sunshine, riding my bike, camping, trying new restaurants and exploring with friends and family. I also find a lot of joy in traveling to new places and submerging myself in unfamiliar cultures, architecture and food. Some of my most cherished memories of traveling include spending time in Honduras, where I assisted in providing free medical clinics in rural under-served communities.
