Bio

I was born and raised in Bakersfield, Calif. After my medical training, I moved to Oregon to be near my family, most of whom live in the Portland area. I love the Pacific Northwest and I’m proud that my children get to be Oregonians.

My love of solving complex problems led me to become a physician. After graduating cum laude from the University of California San Diego, I attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. I completed both my urology residency and my general surgery internship at the university hospital, Montefiore Medical Center.

The further I advanced in my training, the more I realized how much I valued the individual relationships with my patients. As a board-certified urologist, I am honored to be able to help my patients with urinary issues such as incontinence and retention; sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and hypogonadism; fertility management, including vasectomies and vasectomy reversals; and other urological issues, including cancers. Helping people to achieve their health goals is extremely satisfying to me.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, our two young children and our dog. I’m also an avid runner and a huge fan of tabletop role-playing games.
