Ambulatory Surgical Centers

Overview

Many surgical procedures don’t require an overnight stay in the hospital and can be performed safely and cost-effectively in an ambulatory, or outpatient/day-surgery, setting. The Portland Clinic operates two ambulatory surgery centers where our patients can have day surgeries performed by our own providers in state-of-the-art facilities. Our professional staff is shared by both facilities to ensure the consistency and quality of care.

Quality, safety and patient comfort are the top priorities in our surgery centers. Both centers participate with the Oregon Patient Safety Commission and the Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and are accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.
