Relocation of patient care at The Portland Clinic-Downtown

UPDATED:  April 16, 2025

As of February 2025, The Portland Clinic-Downtown location at 800 SW 13th Avenue closed to patient care and all clinical operations relocated to our five neighborhood locations in the Portland Metro area. We are continuing to use our Downtown facility as the base for the clinic’s administrative services. 

Please be assured that your care will continue seamlessly with your provider at one of our other locations.  

After 104 years being Downtown, and 50 years in the current building, this was a very hard decision. Your health and safety are our top priorities. We made this decision to provide you with the best and most convenient care possible. This transition allows us to shift our resources to our other neighborhood locations, and plan for future facility upgrades, welcoming both our long-time patients and new patients as we look toward the future expansion of The Portland Clinic.  

The clinical areas that relocated include:

• Gastroenterology
• Gynecology
• Ophthalmology
• Urology
• Physical Therapy
• Radiology
• Laboratory services
• Anticoagulation clinic
• Diabetes services

The transition started in mid-December 2024 and was completed in February 2025. Any appointments that were scheduled with your provider remain unchanged as far as the date and time, in most cases. However, there may be a few instances where the day of the week had to change on a provider’s schedule at their new location. We will contact you directly to confirm the location of your upcoming appointment(s) as well as any ancillary services such as imaging or lab.
